If you have a couple of days in the Omiš area, this could be the trip you are looking for. Krka NP is one of two Croatian NP`s that contain lakes and waterfalls. We are taking you to 2 locations of exceptional natural value within the NP, with an included boat ride down the river canyon.

But let`s start with the plan. We start our journey from Omiš and head towards Krka National Park, with a brief stop in Split for check-in before continuing our drive to the Lozovac entrance, as this is the best place to start the 2km walk around the Skradinski Buk waterfall (Relaxing walk downhill as the views are building up). Pass through the old water mill system as our guide explains part of the history and traditions in this area. Then continue this amazing walk on the wooden pathway with waterfalls everywhere around. This truly is one of the most preserved ecosystems in Croatia.

After 2h30mins at Skradinski Buk, we continue our journey with a boat ride down the river canyon to our second location inside the NP, the lovely little town of Skradin. In this lower part of the stream, we have an opportunity during the hot summer days to cool down with a nice swim inside the Krka River.

And last but not least, a special surprise for those who love some good local food and wine. Only a 10-minute drive from our swimming spot, we have a little village called Plastovo, known for a few beautiful local family food and wine stops. Let`s go for some wine tasting (included), learn about its production and history, and if you decide, taste some of the local specialities that the family offers. The summary would be: A total of 5 hours inside the Krka NP at two locations with exceptional views and scenery, a boat ride, swimming inside the Krka River and an extra visit to a local family food and wine tavern (agrotourism).
