The tour is a great way of visiting Plitvice National Park without having to try to deal with public transportation, which would be complicated at best. The scenery is amazing. Our guide took us on a walking tour of the park, lasting about 3 hours. There is time later in the afternoon for a meal at a restaurant. If your have mobility or endurance issues keeping up with the group could be a problem. Be sure to wear sensible shoes as the paths can be slippery or muddy and the wooden boardwalks have gaps which can catch heels. Lots of stairs, many without handrails. It takes about 2 hours driving time each way from Zagreb. It is also possible to book the tour as a one-way from Zagreb to Split via the park; you can bring your luggage.
