The guide was extremely interesting and spoke all about the areas, traditions, and history during the trip down & back. He also showed us some interesting sites and gave us stories about them in Dubrovnik. The issue was the communication in the beginning, where we were supposed to meet. We rushed there, stood around and were in the wrong place. Although the tour was interesting, we didn't have enough time in the city - could only eat lunch, walk the walks quickly & rush through the Rector's Palace - not able to take advantage of our Dubrovnik pass. We also stopped very briefly in Ston for oysters, also not enough time to enjoy it. If you don't want to drive yourself, then this is fine - but in hindsight we would have driven ourselves and even stayed over.

I took 3 tours with grayline. First tour was from Bucharesti, romania to Tsarvets and rock monastery in Bulgaria on 4/7/24. The guide was very helpful, knowledgeable, and answered questions. He explained about the locations and gave us free time to explore the locations more. His lunch recommendation (Ego in veliko) was excellent but it was a little difficult to find at first. The second tour was to Dubrovnik with Peter on 4/17/24. He was funny and informative. He gave us a 40 min tour through the city and then gave use the rest of the time to explore the city with some recommendations. We also stopped at Ston for oyster/muscle tasting. It was unique but I'm not used to oysters that are that fresh. The third tour was also with Peter 4/18/24 to Platvice lakes with a transfer to Zagreb afterwards. It was a very beautiful place but you must be ready for a little hiking. We had a short rest in between the 2 sections of the park. Afterwards we had a late lunch nearby with good food. Overall the tours were a great choice for day trips with knowledgeable guides. 1
